9月16日，一汽-大众旗下子品牌捷达宣布，VA3正式上市，新车共推出4款车型，售价6.58-9.28万元。新车搭载代号EA211 1.5L自然吸气发动机，并匹配爱信AQ160六速自动变速箱和5速手动变速箱，它也是捷达品牌正式发布后第一款轿车。
JETTA VA3是定位于A级的三厢轿车，该车由一汽-大众成都分公司生产。新车整体造型延续了老款捷达的设计，但前后灯组及格栅都进行了调整，让整车看起来更具年轻气息。捷达VA3的车身尺寸为4501/1704/1479毫米，轴距2604毫米。
内饰上，新车也延续了老款捷达的设计，并且中控台增加了8英寸触控屏幕，集成有蓝牙、语音识别、CarPlay、CarLife、WeLink等功能。同时，新车还配备前排座椅加热、ESP、胎压监测、定速巡航、后驻车雷达、自动空调、感应雨刷、前大灯离回家功能等配置。
安全方面，捷达VA3还配备有前排侧面安全气囊和两侧头部气帘，而且ESP车辆电子稳定控制系统、胎压监测等实用配置都成为标配。
动力上，新车将搭载一台代号EA211 1.5L自然吸气发动机，最大功率112马力，峰值扭矩145牛·米。并匹配爱信AQ160六速自动变速箱和5速手动变速箱，该发动机也符合国VI排放标准。
