2018年，别克品牌在华销量106.3万辆，同比下滑13.2%。这是别克勇推三缸的一年，同时也是销量下滑的一年。
B级市场的君威、君越车型在2018年斩获了17万台的年度销量，也帮助别克实现了较为醒目的市场价值呈现。
以Avenir代表的“GL8 Avenir”、“君越Avenir”等强调高端化的艾文莉车系，也迎来了它的收官之年。虽然不少行业从业者，会以换汤不换药、停留于外在等说法对它横加批判，但我们却无法否认，这样的包装营造，对别克品牌整体高端化所实现的帮助。
况且，GL8 Avenir与贵士、塞纳车型事实上的分庭抗礼，也的确帮助别克品牌实现了堪称优渥的高价值展示。
英朗、阅朗、GL6、新凯越等三缸军团的推出与盲测等市场活动的推广，则为整体汽车行业做了勇敢的“探界者”，替所有已经或预谋推出三缸发动机的汽车厂商，试探了一下水深与水温。同样主打三缸的领克02/03以及全新福克斯车款当前所获取到的认可，很难说没有别克的贡献及功劳。
