2018年，整个乘用车行业处于一种“百废待兴”的状态，各个车企都出现了不同程度的同比下滑的情况，前几年高速发展的格局戛然而止，车市走势趋于平缓，在这种大格局下，继力帆汽车被车和家收购后，又有一家老牌民族企业挂牌出售，它就是川汽野马。野马汽车诞生于上世纪80年代，以军用越野车和客车、货车起家，在2002年被福临集团收购，被收购后，就开始了转型，主要生产民用SUV和MPV，如今随着汽车行业的不景气，它又一次被送上了交易市场。
在交易之前，野马汽车的负债金额已经高达38.34亿元，很显然，野马汽车的发展已经无以为继，挂牌出售也是无奈之举。在野马汽车的首款MPV——斯派卡上市之初，野马汽车还是踌躇满志，扬言不把野马做上市，决不罢休！可是时间仅仅过了一年，野马汽车便倒下了，真的是让人充满唏嘘。
在斯派卡的新车发布会上，野马还把别出心裁的把汽车论斤卖，舒适型20元/斤，豪华型24元/斤，这款带电动侧滑门的7座MPV以5.98-7.58万元的价格上市，可谓诚意满满，但是经过一年时间的市场考验，它没有缓解野马汽车身上的病，野马汽车依然负债累累，不得不卖身求存。其实除了斯派卡外，野马还打算在2019年第一季度上市一款全新的SUV——T60，但是由于野马的挂牌，这款T60如果推出的话，已经更换了东家。
在不久前，山东雷丁汽车收购了野马汽车82.5%的股份，正式入主野马汽车，一共花了14.5亿元。野马汽车留了一个“烂摊子”，雷丁汽车为什么还要收购它呢？这应该算是“各取所需”吧，福临集团急需一笔资金来缓解自身压力，而雷丁汽车则是看中了野马汽车的销售渠道和汽车的制造经验。雷丁汽车之前一直致力于生产低速电动汽车，没错，就是你口中的“老年代步车”！收购野马汽车后，就意味着它具有了生产传统的燃油汽车和高速新能源汽车的资质，因为野马汽车具有“全牌照”。
“全牌照”包括生产燃油乘用车和商用车以及新能源汽车的所有资质，这才是雷丁汽车最看重的东西吧？对于消费者而言，野马汽车这个品牌并不会消失，只不过它的拥有者变了身份而已。
