每个汽车市场细分领域里，不同的时期都需要一款“神车”来担任标杆，就比如曾经合资SUV领域的“神车”途观“老去”以后，市场一直在寻找新的接班者。
人们常说购车时要“买新不买旧”，原因在于新车比旧车在技术和配置上要更具优势。途观由于多年未进行换代，无论设计、技术还是配置都稍显落后。此时，一拥而上争夺销冠宝座的产品有很多，途观L作为其加长后的衍生产品虽能为其守住一定的份额。但是，它却依旧要面临严峻挑战，因为，和其同宗的一汽-大众探岳——一款同样定位中型SUV且定价更加亲民的德系SUV，来了！
定位为高端中型SUV的探岳，是一款能够应对多重路况、适用全场景的全功能SUV。如果仅从价格上来看，探岳要比途观L更适合成为“神车”的继任者。因为除了买新不买旧以外，还有两个原因让你无法拒绝它。
大众品质不容忽视
虽然这几年日韩系SUV快速崛起，但大众汽车的德系驾乘品质始终深得人心，这一点，消费者只要到店体验就能感受出其中明显的差别。
作为一汽-大众的高端中型SUV，除了本名探岳之外还有一个别称，那就是——“小途锐”。在这一点上侧面说明了其不仅拥有纯正的德系血统，且在设计和做工上整体品质过硬。
基于突破、尊重和共鸣三大主导思想，探岳采用了全新的“锋•尚主义”设计理念，重点突出了力量感和现代感。前大灯与进气格栅的一体化设计、贯穿车顶的铝质装饰条以及矩阵式尾灯设计，都突破了人们印象中的大众形象。
内饰方面，为了营造出“家”的感觉，采用了简约大方且符合人体工学的的设计，更拥有多达24处十色可调内饰氛围灯来进一步烘托豪华氛围。所谓大众品质，除了做工和NVH水平外，对感官细节的苛求同样是铸就这块金字招牌的重要原因。
除此之外，深挖探岳的竞争力时，发现它相比同级竞品还有三个方面的优势：性能、安全和配置。
探岳搭载EA888 2.0T涡轮增压发动机，并引入DQ500七速湿式双离合变速器，这对黄金动力组合让它在8.7秒内就能完成百公里加速，并且综合油耗控制在6.7L左右。
得益于4MOTION智能四驱系统、博格华纳第五代中央差速器的高效控制和专业SUV底盘调教技术，让探岳在应对多重路况时更加得心应手。即便大部分用户的使用场景是城市路况，探岳依旧为底盘做了大面积的保护。
在传统概念中，极致的性能从来都不是SUV车型的首要追求，但它的性能却做到了同级别车型中的佼佼者。而它的定价怎么看都更像是一款主打“亲民”的产品，却用各种高科技铸就了超越同级的安全保障。
作为大众汽车布局国内中高端SUV市场的全新一代产品，探岳是一汽-大众精益求精造车理念的最新体现。凭借87%的超高强度钢车身、预警式安全带、防颈部扭伤安全头枕等60余项主被动安全装备，获得了2018C-NCAP五星安全的评价。
其中60余项主被动安全装备包括了TJA交通拥堵辅助系统、ACC3.0自适应巡航系统、PLA3.0智能泊车辅助系统、Pre-Crash预碰撞保护系统等等。在这一系列高新技术的簇拥下，使得探岳成为同级别合资品牌SUV当中，首款达到L2级自动驾驶辅助的车型。
不仅安全配置方面有高科技加持，探岳的多媒体配置同样优秀。10.3英寸的全液晶数字仪表盘、9.2英寸触摸彩屏、三温区全自动空调系统、以及Dynaudio音响等配置，在让车主拥有更好的体验之余，视觉上也更加具有科技感。
每当我们感叹一汽-大众车型销量一骑绝尘的时候，就该明白铸就这一切的基础是大众品质。没错，一汽-大众是最了解国人需求的品牌，但能满足国人需求才是它真正被消费者优先选择的原因。
高定位、低价格的诱惑
我们都很清楚，一款车型包括设计、品质、配置、性能等在内的整体竞争力，都是建立在成本之上的。所以，抛开价格来谈一款车是否值得买是不切实际的。
毫无疑问，探岳拥有很强的产品竞争力，但能否成为“神车”却还有两个重要的参考因素：定位和价格。
不同品牌的SUV彼此之间会各有优点，并由此形成优劣势，但高定位的优势却是难以超越的。这就好比入门豪华车比高配普通品牌车型更吸引人，除了品牌价值以外，豪华车在做工用料及三大件方面都更有吸引力，这就是定位的重要性。
其次，对于更为直接的竞争对手——途观L。同为中型SUV，并且同样来自大众MQB A2平台，虽然探岳在尺寸上要小一点点，但在实际乘坐空间方面却毫不逊色，并且售价区间更加具有优势。先不说两者在起步价上面差了近3.6万元，就拿四驱入门版车型来说，探岳23万元即可买到，而途观L则需要28万元。而且在三大件相同的情况下，探岳和途观L在配置上差别并不大，部分对标车型甚至拥有更丰富的配置。
相同的定位，却通过更低的价格来向对手实施降维打击，不得不说在这一点上，探岳作为“后来者”确实非常聪明。因为对于消费者来说，能够实现付出更低的成本买到心仪的车，就是最大的福音！
钟述丨途观远去，探岳时代揭幕
作为国内最出色的汽车品牌之一，大众必须要在竞争最为激烈的SUV市场保持鲜活的生命力。随着途观逐渐失去优势，探岳就成了顺理成章的接班者。
从定位和竞争力等各个方面来看，途观都已经不是探岳的对手。而逐渐取代途观销量的途观L，与探岳相比之下却并不具备成为途观真正意义上接替者的资格，从整个大众品牌正在做品牌向上这个发展战略来看，这根接力棒明显交给一汽-大众探岳才更为合适。
