目前雷诺在华共有两款国产SUV车型，计划到2022年国产车型阵容达到9款。网上车市获得了雷诺全新SUV谍照，尾部贴有东风雷诺与CAPTUR（卡缤英文名）标识。新车相比现款进口版卡缤尺寸上全面提升，动力方面换搭雷诺与奔驰共同开发的1.3T四缸发动机，分为高低功率调校，并将于今年下半年正式上市，售价方面相比进口版车型也将有所下调。
国产卡缤相比目前进口版车型在尺寸上进行了加长，但仍然小于科雷嘉。动力方面，国产卡缤将搭载雷诺与奔驰共同开发的1.3T四缸涡轮增压发动机，目前已经搭载在奔驰A级车型上。新1.3T发动机在国产卡缤上将提供高低功率两种机型，最大功率分别为117kW、98kW，其中低功率发动机动力已经超过了现款卡缤搭载的1.2T发动机。
在外观方面国产卡缤采用雷诺家族最新设计语言，相比现款卡缤更加年轻、个性。新车前大灯组采用近似“C”字型造型，内部融入LED日间行车灯。U型前进气格栅加入了亮黑色饰板与镀铬装饰条。车尾尾灯组造型与前大灯组造型相呼应，看上去个性十足。另外新车还将提供双色车身、多种样式轮毂供消费者选择。
