近几年来，雷诺公司发现光凭MPV的销售已经不能再维持公司的运营成本，于是决定研发跨界车型，这也就是为什么雷诺 Modus会被卡缤所取代，从而致使这辆卡缤很快就成为了雷诺最畅销的车型之一。

在过去的几个月里，雷诺发布了很多新款卡缤的效果图，而且这些效果图一次比一次完善，这也恰恰说明了新款卡缤的设计工作即将结束，要准备投产的节奏。

日前，又有海外媒体曝光了一组雷诺全新卡缤的假想图，据悉，新车将于9月的法兰克福车展上正式亮相。从这组假想图来看，新款卡缤是对旧款车型的一种翻新，而并非全新设计。

外观方面与新款雷诺 Clio supermini有几分相似，新车前脸采用上下分体式格栅造型，灯组外部配有全新样式回旋镖LED灯带，车身侧装配了多辐式铝合金轮毂，车尾增加了环形尾灯，与雷诺梅甘娜和大众T-Cross车型有点相似，排气上呈单边单出式布局。

动力方面，新车将搭载奔驰同款1.3T涡轮增压发动机，最大功率100kW，峰值扭矩200N.M，传动系统匹配7速双离合变速箱。此外，新车还将搭载1.0T、1.5L柴油、1.6L混动引擎。

目前雷诺卡缤国内市场售价为13.18-14.18万，相比同级对手本田缤智、大众探歌、福特翼搏等同级小型SUV，其售价区间还是比较占优势。
