说起一汽红旗，在大众的心目中红旗是国人的骄傲。随着汽车工业的不断发展，红旗作为中国自主豪华汽车第一品牌引领着中国的汽车工业稳健发展。近年来新能源汽车以科技、节能、高效的形象走进消费者群众的眼中。红旗品牌作为在中国汽车行业标杆也将开启属于一汽红旗的新能源旅途，2019年一汽红旗推出了首款纯电动新能源E-HS3 而紧接着红旗还将发布混动动力汽车，它就是红旗H7 PHEV插电式混合动力汽车。
红旗 H7 PHEV 是基于一汽红旗H7平台打造，红旗H7 PHEV 方正车头搭配家族式设计语言的进气格栅显得端庄大气。发动机盖飘扬的旗帜是具有浓厚中国色彩的红旗品牌标识。红旗 H7 PHEV 的市场定位为中大型轿车，车身尺寸5095*1875*4785mm的数据完全不输同级别车型。红旗 H7 PHEV与燃油版本H7在外观唯一的差别是车尾部的PHEV 车标。
在动力方面，红旗H7 PHEV 将采用2.0L增压直喷发动机和7速湿式双离合变速器搭配一汽自主研发的混合动力系统。采用的7速湿式双离合变速器也是用一汽集团自主研发，是为了搭载该套自主研发的动力系统。据悉，该混合动力系统是通过在发动机与变速箱之间增加电动机模块来实现混合驱动。红旗H7 PHEV所搭载的混动系统能使电机输出峰值功率54马力。峰值扭矩为280N/m。
一汽研发并搭载在红旗H7 HPEV 车型上的混合动力系统和大多数混合动力车型一样。都具备启停、发动机电动机联合驱动、发动机单独驱动等功能。在油耗方面，该混合动力系统配备一套25A的电池组。能够让车辆在纯电动的情况下以100公里每小时的巡航速度下行驶30公里，在燃油满电的状态下的续航里程可达1000公里。百公里的加速时间为8.6秒，而百公里油耗仅为3.6L。
搭载自主研发混合动力系统的新能源红旗H7 PHEV 上市后将与宝马5系新能源以及奥迪A6L新能源共同竞争。上面我们说过在空间尺寸上面红旗H7 PHEV 的市场定位为中大型豪华轿车。所以在这一方面，红旗H7 PHEV拥有巨大优势。
新能源车型对于安全性的要求相比传统燃油车型更加复杂，因为新能源车型中动力电池的存在，车身重量相比传统车型更大，也就意味着撞击时的动能也越大，这对新能源汽车的安全性能形成了非常严峻的挑战。碰撞后的电安全方面，PHEV车型的动力电池和高压线路，在碰撞中也将受到严峻的考验。而一汽红旗公布了红旗H7 HPEV 首次试车碰撞数据，在行业专家与媒体的见证之下红旗H7 PHEV交出接近满分的成绩。
