说到HOV车道，估计很多人没有听说过，其实就是一种多乘员车道，是仅供乘载至少某一规定乘客数车辆行驶的车道。简单来讲，车上只有一个人不能在该车道行驶。
该车道的主要作用是提高道路使用效率，缓解交通压力，降低汽车空乘率。当然，还有重要的一点是，减少汽车数量，达到节能减排的效果。在该车道行驶，需要满足以下两个条件：
1.核定载客人数9人(含)以下的小型、微型载客汽车;
2.车辆乘员为2人及以上(含司机)。
HOV车道一般设置在道路最左侧的第一车道，会设置指示牌。在规定限行时间驶入HOV车道，如果被抓拍到车上只有一人，将会被处罚。目前拥有这种车道的城市不多，处罚也不同，有的地区只是罚款，有的地区既扣分又罚款，具体还是要以各地的政策为准。
路上需要留意的地方比较多，所以平时开车出门一定要提高警惕，留意周边的指示牌，以免独自一人开车时误闯HOV车道被处罚。对于这种车道，大家怎么看呢?
