在2019年芝加哥车展期间，福特汽车亮相了新款F系Super Duty版皮卡，该车拥有经过全新设计的前脸和LED头灯。根据福特汽车官方称，全新设计的保险杠有助于优化空气动力学和发动机冷却效果。在内饰方面，该车没有进行更多的调整。
在动力方面，该车采用了全新的7.3L V8发动机，这也是该车的最大亮点。该发动机采用了全新的进气系统，并且优化了顶置阀门结构和锻钢曲轴。不过福特目前暂未公布其具体动力参数，但相比于刚刚完成换代的雪佛兰索罗德HD、GMC Sierra HD和Ram Heavy Duty三款同级别产品，福特这款7.3L V8发动机排量更大，同时官方也提到他将是同级别当中功率最大的V8发动机。
与该款7.3L V8发动机相匹配的是一款十速TorqShift自动变速箱，其齿轮比跨度比之前的6速自动变速箱更宽，变速箱设计紧凑，并且变速箱的重量没有增加。同时，该款变速箱还具有五种驱动模式，包括：普通，牵引/拖运，ECO，沙地，湿滑和雪地。
新款福特F系Super Duty版皮卡还将提供入门级的6.2L 自然吸气V8发动机和6.7T柴油发动机供消费者选择。
除此之外，新款车型还首次亮相了福特的Pro Trailer辅助系统，该系统可以帮助驾驶员轻松操纵拖车。它与拖车反向引导系统相结合，进一步提升驾驶员倒车的便利性。
