很多老司机都喜欢在些汽车的排气管上绑一条绳子，相信大家也不少见到这样的场景。但是，很多人都不清楚如此做的原因。那么为何老司机都会在排气管绑条绳子？看完缘由，终于明白了！
其实在车上绑绳子最主要的一个原因是为了防止静电。想必，大家对静电应该都深有体会。尤其是在干燥的天气下，很多人在开门，或者摁电梯的时候，会经常被电到。因为电梯和门都是金属，容易导电，这个原理大家都应该知道。而汽车，除了轮胎是绝缘体之外，包括车门和车身的构造都是金属。所以，天气干燥时，开车门时会容易被电，就算车子熄火了也难以避免。因为，车内外空气不能对流，外加上车内人的衣服摩擦，于是就容易产生静电。虽然被电可能并不是很大的事，但是突然的电击有时候还是很让人糟心的。所以，在这种情况下，很多车主会在排气管上绑一根绳子。因为排气管是金属制品，可以顺着绳子将静电流导出，从而使车辆内部的静电得以减少。
大家不要小看这条绳子，它还有一个容易被大家忽视的作用。有的人会在绳子上装一个反光片，这样一来，尤其是在夜间行驶时，后面的汽车可以通过绳子上的反光片知道前面行驶的汽车。这样一来，在光线不太好的地段，这也相当于为安全行驶提供了一个很好的保障。
相必大家都清楚为啥老司机都在汽车排气管上绑根绳子了。虽然说静电也不是百分之一百会发生，但是不怕一万，就怕万一。因此，如此两全其美的方式，你会绑一根吗？
