在如今的汽车市场中，除了之前传统的燃油汽车之外，还有一种是近几年出现的纯电动汽车，这种类型的汽车引起了许多车主的关注，所以许多汽车公司也都专注于新能源车型的研发。很多人都对这种车型非常期待，要说纯电动汽车的好处，除了更环保之外，“省钱”也是这种车型推广的重点，毕竟电的价格和汽油的价格之间的差距还是很大的。几乎每个人都会认为电动汽车比燃油汽车更省钱。但是，对于这个问题，前不久就有人算了一笔账，而在算完这笔账之后，很多车主纷纷表示：“我想卖车。”
对于燃油汽车，使用过程中最大的开支应该是车辆的油费和保养费了。在驾驶汽车的期间，汽油就会不断的消耗，油费开支与和车子每年行驶的里程是成正比的。而另一方面，车子的保养也是一笔大开支，根据保养的范围不一样，开支也不一样，少的只要几百，多的就需要花费上万。一般来说，燃油汽车的开支每年可达到1万多元。
相比之下，使用电动汽车的动力成本会低一些，如果电动汽车在家里充电，每度电的费用约为0.5元，电池容量为50kw，充一次电是25元。如果电动汽车在外面充电，每度电的电费在1元到2元之间，如果按1.5元计算，一次充电需要75元。但是，即使在外面充一次电要花75元，根据350公里的电池续航来算，每公里的平均花费仅为0.2元，一年的电费大概是3000元。
如果只是算每公里要花多少钱的话，纯电动汽车有很大的优势，但是平时驾驶纯电动汽车，车主还需要一些配套设施，这些配套设施也会花费不少钱。对于燃油汽车来说，冬天的时候，可以随便露天停车，即使天气不好也没关系。但对于纯电动汽车，太冷和太热都会影响电池。所以买了电动车就需要买一个车库，购买车库后，还必须安装充电桩，这样才方便充电。
充电桩也需要额外的钱，而这些额外的费用能再买一辆新车了。即使车主没有购买车库，也不安装充电桩，汽车使用几年后，也是需要更换电池的，更换电池费用不小，因为没有政策的补贴，所以车主更换了一块电池花费差不多50,000元。这样一算，与燃油车的花费没有什么区别了，一般的人确实难以负担的起，难怪网友说更加开不起了。
但是，使用电动汽车的花费高这样的状况是暂时的。一旦技术成熟，更换电池或为汽车充电会更加方便起来。
