丰田最新的跑车作品第5代Supra，才刚在2019年1月中旬于北美车展全球首发，时隔仅约半个月，丰田的原厂改装部门TRD在近日释出预告，表示他们将在今年2月9号于大阪车展 (Osaka Automesse) 发表GR Supra Performance Line Concept，目前信息还不多，但应是一辆经TRD操刀的性能版Supra。
刚在2019年北美车展发表的第5代Supra，是丰田最新的跑车作品，而原厂改装部门TRD可能已经替它开发好相关改装部品，并将在2019大阪车展中亮相。
设计灵感取材自经典的TRD 3000GT
虽然无论丰田或TRD，目前都没有透露太多有关GR Supra Performance Line Concept的信息，但从TRD的介绍页面及预告影片，可以确定这辆新车的设计灵感来自1994年的TRD 3000GT。这辆经典作品搭载着大量TRD改装部品，拥有更宽的车身、更强的动力与底盘性能，整体设计取材自丰田在1990年代的JGTC GT500赛车。
另外，从TRD这次释出的几张草图看来，GR Supra Performance Line Concept会拥有高耸的大尾翼、低矮的宽车体车身，以及凿有开孔的引擎盖，种种特征均与Supra 3000 GT有深厚关联。

TRD在GR Supra Performance Line Concept的介绍页面中，强烈的紧扣1994年推出的TRD 3000GT，透露两车间所拥有的关联。
另一方面，GR Supra Performance Line Concept也有可能是TRD全新改装部品的展示平台，秀出他们针对第5代Supra所开发的各种套件。目前还无法确定TRD是否有成车贩售GR Supra Performance Line Concept的计划。
