首先这条高速俗称“杭绍甬高速公路”，这条不限速高速路几乎可以说是直线建立的高速公路，这是继德国全世界第二条不限速的高速公路，但是规模远远要比德国要强大更多，不过并不是说全程不限速，最高限速80路段在上下路口闸道，距离上下高速路口2KM会通过WIFI传导引导降速至120KM/H。全程高速限速最低80，货车限速70货车最高可以开到110KM/H这与波兰国家差不多，这条超级高速公路参考意大利150km/h高速和德国不限速高速的设计与建造标准，且配套了一系列的黑科技，甚至可以说，和德国的相比，有过之而无不及。
另外杭绍甬高速公路贯穿杭州到宁波，未来两地之间的只需要1小时就能达到，还有杭绍甬高速公路是专为新能源汽车准备的，所以它还具有太阳能发电、路面光伏发电功能，也就是说你可以一边开车一边充电，再也不怕开长途半路没电了，该项目总投资96.9亿，临近100亿，有望在2022年杭州亚运会上正式投用，千万别看到不限速就撒开胆的飙车，要知道在不限速的德国，也只有8%的车主会超速到170km/h以上，更多还是老老实实在开在110km/h以内的。
该公路具备智能、快速、绿色、安全四大要素，除无限速外，还有众多让人喜爱的功能，肯定会受到众人的青睐，据知情人士的透露这条高速可以实现汽车自动化，配备卫星定位和车路协同以及路面检车等等系统，能够让我们的路面信息及时的导入到车里，配合无人驾驶这项最先进的系统能够实现自动行车功能，这时候驾驶员可在车里干自己的事情，大家对此怎样看。
