简单说一下：
因为它叫奔驰的大灯
奔驰研发的MULTIBEAM LED头灯搭载了多个特殊的LED模块，每个模块由24个独立控制的LED发光单元组成。远光灯的光束便来自这些LED发光单元。
与普通LED头灯最大区别在于这些LED发光单元可以根据道路状况自动开闭，从而控制远光灯的照射区域、亮度等。就是说，如果对面来车，MULTIBEAM LED头灯就会降低某些区域的照射亮度，从而避免让来车司机晕眩。
那这项神奇的大灯技术是怎么判断道路状况实现自动调整远近光灯呢？其实其传感器就是在于挡风玻璃后面的摄像头。该摄像头负责监测道路信息，并将信息反馈至四个控制单元，后者以100Hz的频率调整头灯至合适的照明状态。
MULTIBEAM LED头灯的厉害之处还不止于此。每个头灯还包含一个为近光灯模式打造的模块，由4个LED发光单元组成。如果摄像头监测到前方出现弯道，MULTIBEAM LED头灯就会自动调整光照偏向弯道方向，最大偏转角度可达12度，方便司机更清晰地了解前方路况。即是说MULTIBEAM LED头灯是既自动切换远近光和随动大灯一体的LED灯组。
