很多换过轮胎或轮毂的车主对“四轮定位”和“动平衡”这两个项目都有所耳闻，但不少车主却搞不清这两个的区别。有些人在换完轮胎之后，经常被忽悠让做四轮定位，最后不光花了冤枉钱，还破坏了车辆各部件的原始系数，开起来反而变得不顺手。那么到底什么时候该做四轮定位？什么时候该做动平衡呢？下面就说说“四轮定位”定位跟“动平衡”有什么区别。
一、什么是四轮定位
由于车辆的四轮、转向机构、前后车轴之间都具有一定的相对位置，这个相对位置是由厂家制定的标准值。随着行驶里程的累积以及轮胎磨损，这些固定的数据将会被改变，即使微小的改变也会导致很大的行车风险。调整恢复这个位置的安装，就是四轮定位。四轮定位包括主销后倾角、主销内倾角、前轮外倾角、后轮外倾角、前轮前束和后轮前束六个内容。四轮定位是调整车辆底盘系统间的角度系数，是一种维修手段，不要轻易做。
二、四轮定位的作用
正常的四轮定位可以使汽车保持稳定的直线行驶和转向轻便，保证轮胎与地面的紧密结合，并减少汽车在行驶中轮胎和转向机件的磨损。
三、什么情况下做四轮定位
1、更换或拆下过原厂避震器，车桥及悬架的零件。
2、车辆出现跑偏、转向精准度变差、出现“啃胎”现象导致车辆行驶性能受到了影响，。
3、正常胎压下轮胎出现磨损异常（外侧磨损较快，或内测磨损较快）。
4、因事故造成底盘及悬架的损伤。
动平衡
一、什么是动平衡
由于制造和结构上的原因，车轮各部分的质量分布不可能均匀。当车轮高速旋转起来后，就会形成动态不平衡状态，造成车辆在行驶中车轮抖动、方向盘震动的现象。为了避免或是消除这种现象，使车轮通过增加配重的方法，矫正车轮的重量配置平衡，使车轮校正各边缘部分的平衡。这个校正的过程就是动平衡。
二、动平衡的作用
动平衡可以确保轮胎平顺行驶，避免抖动，让车辆高速行驶起来更平稳安全。
三、什么情况下做动平衡
1、高速行车，车身、方向盘有抖动现象。
2、更换或维修过轮胎或轮毂。
总结：动平衡其实只是单独针对轮胎做的，单独更换或维修过的轮胎只需要做动平衡。而四轮定位是针对悬挂系统的一种维修手段，没出现上面所说问题不要轻易做，没有问题可能修出问题来。
