其实，“开不坏的丰田其”指的是一款霸气车型——丰田普拉多。普拉多作为丰田旗下的一款SUV，质量有所保证，外观霸气上档次，做工也很强硬，几乎适合任何艰难环境下的工作，即便是条件恶劣的山区地形，泥泞地形也很少出现bug，很少掉链子，而且修护率非常低，因此丰田开不坏的汽车暗指的就是普拉多这款汽车。
那么“修不好的大众”是哪款车型呢？“修不好的大众”暗指的是：大众帕萨特b5。大众修不好这句话也是耳熟能详的，这款汽车为啥被大家认为修不好呢？这款车在2000年的时候进入中国，为了适应国内消费者的观念进行了非常大幅度的改动，改动的重点就是电子系统，导致这款车改的面目全非，变成了彻头彻尾的伪中国特色车。而且后期小问题也很多。所以大家都很爱这样调侃：想学汽车修理，只需买帕萨特就可以，可以说这个车型是很不省心。
这就是传说的“开不坏的丰田，修不好的大众”所针对的车型，但是本不是两大品牌的所有车型都如此，车辆也是具有自身独特性的，在购买时还需要根据自身需求进行理性消费，同时也需要购买者经常检测车辆零件，及时解决问题。
