特斯拉旗下的全新SUV车型Model Y已于今年3月发布，位于上海的超级工厂未来也将投产该车型。网通社从海外媒体electrek获悉：数家Model Y供应商已陆续接到需提前约6个月交货的通知。这也意味着，Model Y原定于明年夏季投产的计划有望再度提前。
特斯拉原计划于2020年秋季投产交付Model Y车型，受益于上海超级工厂高效建设所带来的经验，这一计划将提前至2020年夏季。此次有数家供应商收到需提前约6个月交货的通知意味着，Model Y的投产、交付工作将得到进一步提速。
Model Y共推出基准版、长续航版、长续航版（双电机全轮驱动）和高性能版4款车型，其中，基准版由上海工厂引入投产，进口版已在国内开启预售，预售价格为44.4万元-53.5万元。
