途锐V8 TDI外观车型整体延续了现款车型，依然一副霸气硬朗的风格。新车在前格栅侧面以及翼子板后端处加入了V8车型的专属标识，这是其与现款车型最明显的外观区别。
内饰方面，据悉新车的整体设计同样没有变化，不过在配置上有所升级。据悉，新车将可选装Elegance内饰设计包或Atmosphere内饰设计包，Elegance内饰设计包主要以金属和冷色调作为内饰的主要风格，而Atmosphere内饰设计包则采用了更多暖色调以及木纹材质，提升内饰的居家气息。此外，新车的内饰面板和座椅还将采用Vienna Type真皮包覆，整体质感提升。
动力方面，新车搭载了一台4.0L V8涡轮增压柴油发动机，最大功率309kW（421Ps），峰值扭矩达到900Nm，0-100km/h加速仅需4.9s，极速可达250km/h。
作为目前车系的最强动力车型，途锐V8 TDI在外观和内饰上基本保持了现款车型，新颖点较少，但4.0L V8涡轮增压柴油发动机的加入使其增色不少，4.9s破百的动力表现非常值得期待。
