进入2019年，大众汽车的产品线在进行着不断的调整和演变，继经典的甲壳虫和小众的高尔夫Alltrack、SportWagen（国内车型分别为高尔夫跨界旅行版和高尔夫·嘉旅）陆续宣布“寿终正寝”后现款7.5代高尔夫R也将在2019年底迎来停产。

经大众内部人士证实，目前投产7.5代高尔夫R的德国沃尔夫斯堡工厂正在进行生产线的调整，以应对全新的第8代高尔夫的投产，现款高尔夫R的停产则可看做短暂的离开，后续会继续推出第8代高尔夫R车型。
8代高尔夫谍照
目前，第8代高尔夫的无伪装谍照已经曝光，颠覆性的外观设计让人出乎意料，这更加重了高尔夫车迷们对现款车型的留恋，被称为高尔夫8的最新一代车型最快会在10月份进行全球首发，如果你更欣赏现款高尔夫R，可要抓紧下手了。
