早在2010年，宝马X1就进入了中国市场，当时的竞争对手直指奥迪Q5和奔驰的GLK等级别更高的车型，也获得不少消费者的喜爱。
如今，跟随着宝马7系更新的脚步，2020款宝马X1在海外迎来更新，将于2019年底在美国上市销售，按照其产品节奏，后续新车有望引入国内。
没错，效仿家族其他改款车型，2020款X1毫无疑问的配备了有明显家庭血统、更大的双肾进气格栅。相比之下，宝马官方表示，新款7系的进气格栅相比之前增大了40%，但宝马官方并未给出任何详细数据来表明，2020款X1的进气格栅增大了多少。

从实车图可以看到，新车的前保险杠增加了很多的开口，并且取消了经典的圆雾灯（位于两侧大灯下方），取而代之的是在镀铬亮条下方的两个长方形扁体LED雾灯。前保险杠的设计也更加运动化，想必在冷却胎壁、水箱和中冷方面有着更好的效果。
引擎盖的缝隙结合处被设计在了大灯、进气格栅的边缘，这样即使是白色车漆，缝隙也不会过于明显，这点相比老款还是值得表扬的，对于强迫症患者将会是非常好的消息。
宝马也更新了后保险杠和排气管的尺寸，使其看起来更加的运动化，LED尾灯的设计相比老款也是略有不同。
宝马官方称M Sport套装在这台新款X1身上也是全新设计过的，但还未公布任何照片，全新的轮毂有18寸和19寸可供消费者选择。
8.8英寸的信息娱乐屏幕取代了之前的6.5英寸显示屏。（之前8.8英寸的显示屏是一个可加装选项）当然，导航和Apple CarPlay也是标准配置，系统使用了宝马最新的iDrive 6操作系统。
内饰方面增加了很多皮革材质，并增加了撞色缝线，使其看起来更显档次和运动化。
仪表盘可以看出来虽然是传统模版样式，但却是全液晶屏幕显示。小编认为经典的红色运动背景在切换运动模式时应该是必不可少的，相对应的数据显示也会让我们对车辆信息更加了解，不过具体的变化也让我们拭目以待。
可以看得出来，新车后排空间还是很大的，腿部空间充裕，不过具体还是得在试过实车后评价。
据悉，新车后备箱空间也很可观，目测20寸行李箱可以最少放6个。后排座椅可按比例放倒增加了空间的实用性，偶尔搬个家或者搬运大号家具物品等也是完全没有问题的。
2020款X1唯一的动力传动系统是一款可爆发228匹马力的直列四缸涡轮增压发动，匹配全新8速手自一体变速箱，兼具油耗和性能表现。
在北美市场，2020款X1全系相比老款上涨250美元（约合人民币1750元），前轮驱动的sDrive车型起售价是36195美元（约合人民币25.3万元），四轮驱动xDrive车型起售价是38195美元（约合人民币26.7万元）。
在国内，2019款宝马X1于去年10月上市，推出了搭载1.5T/2.0T动力的5款车型，售价区间为28.38-37.98万元。
