现在不少车主在乎车子是否带有天窗。但拥有了天窗，你得尽快学会如何保养天窗。如果保养不善，天窗一旦发起小脾气来，那享受将会成为你的无限烦恼。
1、可以用较细的滑石粉经常保养，可延长密封圈的使用寿命，天窗移动部分由低保养材料制成，应定期用机油或润滑剂清洗机械部分，建议每两个月清洁一次。
2、天窗使用久了，在其滑轨、缝隙中一般会有不少砂粒沉积，如不定期清理，则会磨损天窗部件。应经常清理滑轨四周，避免砂粒沉积，延长天窗密封圈的使用寿命。一般在使用2至3个月的时候，把密封胶条或滑轨用纱布沾着清洗水清洗一下，待擦干净后涂抹少许机油或黄油就可以了。
3、开启天窗前应注意车顶是否有阻碍玻璃面板运行的障碍物。天窗面板的设计有隔绝热能和防紫外线的功能，请用软布和清洁剂清洗，切勿用粘性清洗剂清洗。
4、使用天窗最大的顾虑就是漏雨、漏水，天窗的正确使用和保养能有效避免漏水。在进入雨季之前，除了清理滑轨、密封条缝隙里的沙尘，还应在密封条等部件上喷涂少许塑料防护剂或滑石粉。
5、冬季在雪后或者洗车后，天窗玻璃与密封胶框可能被冻住，这时如果强行打开天窗，易使天窗电机及橡胶密封条损坏。正确的做法是，在雪后或者洗车后，将天窗打开，擦干边缘残留的水分。
6、在极为颠簸的道路上最好不要完全打开天窗，否则可能因天窗和滑轨之间振动太大而引起相关部件变形甚至使电机损坏。此外，下雨或清洗车辆时严禁开启天窗。
