宝马全新MINI掀背式电动汽车正式推出，拥有三门设计，可行驶200km，有三层装饰，售价24400英镑（约合人民币21万元）。目前该车已经开始预售，并将于2020年3月开始交付。

MINI表示，这款电动汽车的问世，与2001年预示着该品牌再创新的那款汽车一样具有开创性。今年正值宝马1959年推出的Mini系列60周年之际，也是该英国品牌首次尝试全电动车型的9周年。

虽然这款新车实际上被称为MINI Electric，但你会发现车的后挡板上有Cooper S的标识——这是MINI表示与常规阵容相当的性能水平的一种方式。MINI E使用了宝马i3S相一致的181马力电机，零百加速仅需7.3秒，且最高速度可达150km/h。电机由32.5kWh电池组供电。电池组放在了汽油版车型排气系统和传动系统的位置，所以后备箱与后排空间并没有被压缩。因此，后座和后备箱的空间与传统的汽油和柴油版MINI相同。

MINI表示，WLTP工况下的续航里程在200-232km之间，当使用50kW快速直流充电器充电时，80%的充电需要35分钟。AC 11kW充电80%需要2.5小时，一次充满电需要3.5小时。

普通燃油车与纯电车在外观会有一些细微的变化。MINI E的车门比燃油车高出15mm，并且有一个设计更加平滑的后保险杠，当然，燃油版Cooper S的双排气管就被去掉了。前面还有一个比普通燃油车长19mm的新保险杠，它结合了行人碰撞安全技术，降低碰撞时的伤害。但 Cooper S仍将封闭式前脸和格栅作为装饰保留下来，并且多了“活力四射”的黄色或黑色条纹进行修饰美化。

其他不同之处还包括更多空气动力学车门后视镜，最近改装的MINI Clubman，车身盖上的黄色“S”标记和舷窗上的黄色“E”标记。 就像常规车型一样，舷窗可以通过MINI Yours计划进行个性化设置。

车内部有一些黄色装饰和按钮，包括启动/停止按钮，在中央控制台上有一个新的电动滚筒代替了Cooper S的手动手刹。 然而，最大的变化是椭圆形的液晶仪表盘取代了传统的圆形仪表盘，上面可显示速度、功率和距离数据。

内饰分三种级别，但MINI还没有确认它们的名称。基础版内饰将包括织物座椅，带Apple CarPlay的6.5英寸信息娱乐屏幕和卫星导航，巡航控制和自动空调。车身颜色选择仅限于银色或灰色。
