现在汽车是越来越普及了，很多家庭都会购买汽车，但是随着现在油价的不断上涨，让很多车主觉得都快要开不起车了，所以很多车主千方百计的想要省油，其实车主并不知道自己的一些开车习惯往往就是油耗增大的原因，不知道车主朋友有没有听过这么一句话“司机脚下三分油”
指车主在开车过程中，不论是踩油门加速，还是踩刹车减速，皆十分耗油。踩刹车需要牵扯到制动系统，一旦制动系统开始运转，油耗必然便会蹭蹭蹭的上升。所以，你会听到很多老司机说，省油的第一步，就是要先减少刹车的次数。
因此有些老司机常说，如果想要省油，最好先从踩刹车和踩油门这两方面入手，让车子保持匀速行驶，不要贪快，不要追求速度上的激情，而是从省油的角度出发。
要想降低汽车的油耗，对于汽车油门和刹车的使用就要有一定的技巧。司机在驾驶的过程中，在没有什么特殊的情况时，汽车最好保持一个匀速行驶的状态，这时候对于汽车发动机的压力是最小的，油耗自然也会下降。并且在驾驶的过程中，汽车的车速也不宜过快，如果车速过快，司机就算是遇到一些小的情况也需要刹车减速，这样增加刹车次数的行为也就间接性的增加了油耗。
此前真的就是有大神做过一段时间测试，同一款车，不同人开，那懂技巧的车主开，和新手司机开，同样一箱油，就是差不多能多跑100公里的样子。所以，想在驾驶过程中节省油费的话，那就要管好自己的脚了。
