丰田新车计划基于全新平台打造6款全球战略车款！
在电动汽车领域沉寂多年以后， 丰田终于一次过出完大招！在日前召开的策略说明会上，这家日系巨头就宣布将会改变接下来的5年策略，提前展开电动汽车计划，并计划从2020年起在全球推出最少10款电动车款，当中就包括基于全新 e-TNGA 模组化平台所打造的6款全球战略新车！
丰田副社长寺师茂树在说明会就表示，为了应付全球市场对电动车的需求大幅增加，Toyota 已经加快电动汽车的部署，将销售550万辆电动汽车的目标提前了5年。Toyota 的目标是在2025年销售约550万辆电动汽车，包括传统油电混合动力车（HEV）、插电式混合动力车（PHEV）、纯电动汽车（EV）和氢燃料电池汽车（FCEV）。其中纯电动汽车的销量将占到100万辆。值得一提的是，这项目标原先是设在2023年才正式实现，如今这一个电动化的战略直接加快了5年，估计是为了应对越来越严格的排放法规。
为了展开这项计划，丰田将在明年率先推出早前已经在上海车展发布的C-HR BEV 及 Izoa BEV 这两款孪生电动汽车，而接下来还会推出一款专为日本市场打造的双人座小型 EV 电动车，这款都会代步小车拥有轻量化的铝合金车身，电动马达搭配电池模组后拥有2 W的输出功率，在100 V的电力下仅需3小时就能充满电，最高时速可达到60 km/h，续航能力为50 km。
不过重点还是在这家日系巨头还做出了一项重大宣布，那就是将会以最新开发的 e-TNGA 模组化平台打造出最少6款全球战略电动车款，这些车款将会由 Toyota 自行开发又或与不同的战略合作伙伴共同开发而成，这些车款就包括了：
- 小型电动汽车（由子公司 Daihatsu 与 Suzuki 联合开发）
- 中型 Crossover
- 中型轿车
- 中型 MPV
- 中型 SUV（与 Subaru 共同研发）
- 大型 SUV
至于这6款 BEV（Battery Electric Vehicle，电池电动汽车）所采用的 e-TNGA 简单来说就是能够电动版的 TNGA ，除了能够灵活打造出不同尺寸和类型的车款以外，还能容纳各种电池容量及马达，并且支援前驱、后驱以及双电动马达全驱系统。看来在日益严苛的排放标准下，丰田也开始着重在电动化这一块了！
