丰田再出新车，有外媒透露，此前曾于2017年亮相东京车展的“丰田神车”TJ Cruiser概念车或将量产，此款新车定位跨界中型SUV，预计将在今年10月发布，随后率先在海外市场开售。
据官方表述Tj Cruiser车名中的含义，代表有乐趣的工具箱预计这款新概念车是一辆“工作娱乐两不误”的SUV车型。
外观方面，Tj Cruise整体采用了非常硬朗的线条，看上去与军用装甲车颇为相似，大尺寸进气格栅以及夸张的包围令新车显得非常粗犷，硬派气息十足。新车后门采用后滑门设计，进一步方面乘客上下车。新车尾部层次丰富，前后灯组均采用圆形设计以相互呼应。此外新车还配备普利司通动力侠系列越野轮胎，提高车辆在非铺装路面的通过性。
新车内饰设计更为激进，长条形全液晶仪表盘贯穿整个中控台，复古双辐方向盘中央的TOYOTA字样意在向FJ酷路泽以及早年间的兰德酷路泽致敬。此外，车内四个独立座椅均可完全放平。值得一提的是，日媒Best Car还透露量产版Tj Cruise会比在售的C-HR稍短，但车身更高，以保证车内空间，同时座椅可能将提供两排座或三排座版本。
动力方面，外媒称新车或将提供1.8L/2.0L两种排量混动系统，参考欧版卡罗拉，综合最大功率分别为122马力和180马力，高配车型还提供四驱系统。
