新款思域采用了大量黑色元素，黑色的前格栅、侧面包围、新增的小尾翼、黑色亮面轮毂等等，视觉效果更加运动了，运动版还配有中置排气和扩散器，喜欢改装的网友，如果对该外观认可，可以直接入手，毕竟官方原厂版本在年审验车方面更有优势。
尽管上市了一段时间，但现款思域的内饰依然有着不错的视觉效果，并不显得过时，重要的是消费者还非常买账，所以新款思域继续沿用了现款的样式，绝大部分地方都没有改变，包括中控台、方向盘、座椅、换挡杆等，都是熟悉的味道。但绝多部分并不是全部，细究之下，新款的思域还是有一点点改变的，那就是仪表盘和中控屏进行了一些“运动化”的“调教”，看起来有些TYPE R车型的感觉。
根据工信部上的申报信息，新款思域依旧采用了现款上的1.5T发动机，调教也没有发生变化，最大功率130kW，最大扭矩220N·m，匹配的依旧是CVT变速箱。而在手动挡车型上，预计也与现款一样，发动机的最大扭矩会稍稍提高6N·m。
尽管思域的热度比起刚上市的时候有所下降，但依旧是一台热门的车型，而厂家推出这次小改款的目的也很明确，那就是保持一定的新鲜感、维持一定的热度。在这种情况下，大改是不可能出现的，而实际上也是如此，新款思域改变之处几乎都在外观上，为的就是想再一次抓住各位的眼球。那么，这次它抓住你们的眼球了么？
