在老司机们之间，流传着很多车子相关的口头禅，比如“开不坏的丰田，修不好的大众”，“日系薄皮三大脆，雅阁天籁凯美瑞”等，今天主要看看开不坏的丰田，修不好的大众，这句说的是不是真的呢？丰田真的开不坏，大众真的修不好？老师傅有话要说，看完或能明白。
丰田一向是以整车质量佳、故障率低、油耗低而知名的，在国内口碑好，粉丝也很多。其中卡罗拉和凯美瑞在国际市场的销量，都是遥遥领先的，车子卡起来确实是省油又身心，但是并不是真的开不坏。开不坏的丰田真正指的应该是普拉多和海拉克斯两款车型，适应各种极端路况，又皮实又好开，所以才有了这句话。
大众汽车在中国保有量非常之高，早年的捷达和桑塔纳遍布大街小巷。但是后来，随着市场的急剧扩大，大众推出很多新车型，出现了一些问题和负面新闻，所以口碑和美誉度都下降了。特别是帕萨特B5，时不时的出现半路抛锚的情况，发动机还非常烧机油，电子系统也是经常出故障，恶评一片。当然，这段黑历史已经过去了。
那为什么有些维修师傅还有不少其它的消费者，依旧会选择大众呢？其实大众车质量并不差，特别是汽车开上四五年以后，再来对比三大件的质量，车辆情况的稳定程度，会发现大众车底盘调教、操控性等都比较优秀。相较于丰田来说，各方面用料也比较足。而丰田更看重经济性，追求资源的极致力量，能省则省，虽然结构简单，技术成熟，维修方面，但大众车的底子也是不错的。再加上大众在国内品牌沉淀历史比较久了，车型也很丰富，所以有些人还是愿意选择大众的。
