4月16日，捷途X正式亮相于上海车展。
外观上，大嘴式的进气格栅尺寸很大，而且保持了比较扁平的形状，拥有8个边角，第一眼看上去有种奥迪的感觉。搭配上两侧的LED矩阵光源，颇有一种科幻大片既视感。侧面造型也很犀利，车顶整体采用熏黑处理，而且布满了各种棱线凸显肌肉感。
尾灯不仅采用贯穿式，而且还搭配有发光车标。如果将来量产之后捷途汽车能够保持这样的设计水准，那么对于年轻人来说真的有点无法抗拒。因为这台车还在概念阶段，所以有些夸张的设计比如电动对开门设计还要等待时机成熟才能真正量产。不过这款车预计会搭载奇瑞最强的1.6T发动机，而且将搭配一套更加成熟的插电混动系统，官方给出的数据是百公里加速时间只需4.5秒，相信凭这一点就能吸引到很多的消费者。
