备胎相信大家都明白，只不过今天我们要聊的不是感情备胎，而是车辆的备胎。汽车轮胎是橡胶制品，时间长了老化肯定也是难免的事情，如果说自己爱车的备胎放了5年没用，那它需要更换吗？我们来了解一下。
如果说自己车辆备胎放了5年，那车主就需要留意一下了，如果备胎出现裂纹、老化的现象，那更换还是很有必要的。车辆的种类不同那备胎安装的位置也会有所差异，一般备胎放在后备箱内居多，另外一些SUV的备胎也会安装在底盘下面和车尾的位置。
备胎安装在后备箱的话其实还好，要是在车底和车尾的话问题可能会严重一些，毕竟这四五年的时间老是风吹日晒的，老化的现象多多少少会出现的，所以抽空检修一下还是很有必要的。备胎有全尺寸的但是不多，非全尺寸的还是占据大多数的，非全尺寸轮胎一般在应急的时候使用还是可以的，但切勿长时间使用。
备胎毕竟只是备胎，它的扁平率、胎宽或轮胎直径都与正常使用的轮胎不一样，并且车辆换上备胎以后胎压可能会不同，摩擦力和制动距离也会有一定出处，安全问题也是值得思考的，所以长期使用是不建议的。如果说自己车辆的备胎四五年没用过的话，那其实还是蛮幸运的，虽然没有用过，但检修还是很有必要的。
备胎四五年没有用过并不代表以后用不到，要是发生紧急情况的话肯定还是要用的，如果不检修的话，到时候出现老化、鼓包、裂纹就倒霉了。备胎放的时间长了检查检查还是很有必要的，要是有问题的话最好换掉，这样下次用的时候也方便些。
