现在随着车辆的增多，为了整治不文明司机，交通法规所规范的内容也越来越严格，但是这并不影响老司机展现自己的高超车技。对于很多老司机来说，在路面上行驶不用说肯定是更喜欢可以节省时间、展现车技的快车道的，可是在现实生活中，却发现，最左侧的快车道反而车辆少，这是为何？老司机：被坑太多次了。
最左侧的车道一般是用来超车的车道，这可以大量减少行驶时间，这应该是大家喜闻乐见的事情，可是这条车道上的人却越来越少。原来这条车道的坑主要是在分叉路口，因为在有些情况下，最左侧车道是可以直行也可以转弯的车道，但是还是不乏有那些只能转弯的快车道。这就使得司机们很头疼了。
因为这个时候若想直行，又因为已经在岔路口了，中间的线也变成了实线，想变道也没机会了，只能选择转弯或者掉头，选择其他的路线或者再来一次。选择这样的快车道没太大意义，因为它反而可能会延长行驶的时间。所以对于大多数的老司机来说更愿意选择第二条车道，因为这条车道在岔路口的选择空间会大一些。对此，也有老司机表示：被这条车道坑太多次了。
当然高速公路上也是有最左侧车道的，这条车道是用来给后面的车超车用的。在高速上，由于每辆车的车速都比较快，所以在不想超车的情况下，最好还是开中间的车道，占用最左侧车道不仅会妨碍其他的超车车辆。正是因为这些小坑，让更多的司机选择稳妥的中间一点的车道，最左侧的快车道自然就受了冷落了。
